Role Description The Senior Scientific Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, responsible for supporting the hospital’s clinical and diagnostic activities through scientific oversight and research-based initiatives. This position involves designing and coordinating research projects, analyzing data, and ensuring that diagnostic practices align with current scientific evidence and regulatory standards. The Senior Scientific Officer collaborates with medical, technical, and administrative teams, provides scientific guidance on diagnostic protocols, and may contribute to academic activities such as seminars or training sessions. Daily tasks include preparing reports, reviewing scientific literature, maintaining documentation, and supporting quality assurance programs within the diagnostic center.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Science, with specialized knowledge in Physics or related disciplines.
• Experience in Research, including designing studies, data analysis, and interpretation of scientific findings.
• Background in University Teaching or academic supervision, with the ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to training activities.
• Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and monitor scientific and diagnostic projects effectively.
• Relevant postgraduate degree in a scientific field (e.g., Physics, Biomedical Science, Medical Physics, or similar).
• Familiarity with clinical or diagnostic environments, laboratory standards, and regulatory compliance in healthcare.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities, with attention to detail and data integrity.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate complex information clearly, and work on-site in a structured clinical setting.
