Role Description The Senior Sales Manager | Head of Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This role oversees the entire sales function, including developing and executing sales strategies, setting targets, and monitoring performance to ensure sustainable growth of MG vehicles in the market. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and coaching the sales team, leading dealership and showroom activities, building strong relationships with corporate and retail customers, and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the sales cycle. The role also involves forecasting and reporting, analyzing market trends and competitor activities, collaborating with marketing and after-sales teams on campaigns and initiatives, and aligning local sales operations with brand and group objectives. The Senior Sales Manager | Head of Sales is expected to drive revenue, maintain high standards of professionalism, and represent the MG brand in line with global guidelines.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive sales leadership, with a strong track record in managing teams, meeting sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
• Demonstrated skills in sales strategy development, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analysis.
• Strong customer relationship management capabilities, including negotiation, closing, and account management skills with both retail and corporate clients.
• Experience collaborating with marketing teams on campaigns, promotions, and brand-building initiatives, ideally within the automotive or related industries.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
• Solid understanding of the Bangladesh automotive market, competitor landscape, and emerging trends; experience in Dhaka or major urban centers is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site, manage showroom operations, and ensure consistent, high-quality customer service at all touchpoints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is preferred.
• Comfort with using CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and standard office productivity software to manage data and performance insights.
• High level of integrity, results orientation, and adaptability, with a commitment to maintaining brand standards and regulatory compliance.
