Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications, APIs, and internal systems. The candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, test planning, defect management, and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, UI/UX Designers, and Operations teams to identify issues early, improve product quality, and establish QA best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, PRDs, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Test web applications, mobile-responsive interfaces, APIs, and backend services.
• Validate business logic, workflows, calculations, permissions, and edge cases.
• Identify, document, reproduce, and track software defects.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and release activities.
• Collaborate closely with developers to improve product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Review requirements and provide feedback before development begins.
• Ensure proper test coverage for new and existing features.
• Monitor production issues and assist with root cause analysis.
• Maintain QA documentation and testing reports.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and help establish QA processes and standards.

• 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Experience testing Ecommerce, ERP, CRM, SaaS, or business management applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
