PRANTIC Unnayan Society (PRANTIC) has been implementing the Pooled Fund Project in Education- by the Bangladesh-Rohingya Humanitarian Response and Localization Program, funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and managed by BRAC. Under this initiative, PRANTIC is working to strengthen access to quality, inclusive, safe and relevant education for Rohingya children in the refugee camps.
PRANTIC is seeking a highly competent, experienced and motivated Senior Project Officer (SPO) who can provide strong technical leadership and expert support in education programming within the Rohingya humanitarian response.
The position requires an individual with sound knowledge of the Rohingya response context, Education in Emergencies (EiE), CBLF-based education programming, humanitarian standards, coordination mechanisms, project quality assurance, monitoring and reporting. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring that programme implementation is technically sound, evidence-based, accountable and aligned with donor, sector and organizational requirements.

- Serve as a technical focal person and resource person for education programming under the Rohingya humanitarian response.
- Provide technical leadership for the effective implementation of education activities across 28 Community-Based Learning Facilities (CBLFs).
- Ensure programme approaches are aligned with Education in Emergencies (EiE) principles, INEE Minimum Standards, relevant Education Sector guidance, donor requirements and PRANTIC policies.
- Provide technical advice on learning quality, teaching-learning practices, classroom management, assessment, inclusive education, child safeguarding, PSEA, gender and protection mainstreaming.
- Support the adaptation of programme strategies and approaches based on emerging needs, contextual changes, monitoring findings and lessons learned from the Rohingya response.
- Represent PRANTIC in relevant technical discussions, coordination meetings and education-related forums when required.
- Lead the preparation and implementation of monthly and weekly action plans, ensuring timely achievement of project targets and outcomes.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of all 28 CBLFs and ensure quality implementation against the approved project design, DIP, work plan and indicators.
- Experience: 3-5 years
- Education: masters in any discipline
- Skills: humanitarian response, program coordination, project co-ordination, non-profit program development, program planning and implementation, program development, project coordination, programme delivery, candidate experience
