The bank is seeking a qualified and purpose-driven professional for the following position within its Project Management Office, Digital Banking in the following position:

Grade: AVP- FAVP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Senior Project Manager, this role will be pivotal in turning the bank’s strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes by leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders, and bringing together business, technology, and operations teams to deliver complex transformations successfully. The role offers the opportunity to shape how projects are governed, delivered, and continuously improved across the bank.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic and high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with the bank’s business priorities, approved scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards and expected outcomes.
• Own project delivery governance and performance, proactively tracking milestones, dependencies, deliverables, KPIs and critical path activities to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
• Anticipate and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, developing effective mitigation strategies and providing timely escalation and resolution of critical matters.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders through clear project insights, executive-level reporting and data-driven recommendations, enabling informed and timely decision-making.
• Lead complex implementation, migration and system integration initiatives, ensuring seamless transition, business readiness and sustainable adoption with minimal disruption to operations.
• Establish and maintain robust project governance, including project plans, decision registers, action trackers, steering committee materials and executive dashboards.
• Measure and communicate project value and outcomes, tracking benefits realization, project KPIs and business impact while highlighting opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to the bank’s project management framework, governance principles, risk controls and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion PMO excellence and continuous improvement by enhancing project management methodologies, tools, templates, reporting practices and delivery standards.
• Build a culture of accountability and high-performance project delivery, coaching project teams and fostering effective collaboration across functions

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a UGC-approved university, preferably in CSE or an engineering discipline.
• A Master's or Professional Degree in a business discipline will be considered an advantage.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in banking, financial services, or the telecommunications industry.
• Professional certification in Project Management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent, is required.
• Experience in Agile Delivery Management will be an advantage.
• Strong expertise in Project and Programme Management, PMO Governance, Budgeting, and Risk Management.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional, and technology-enabled projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and execution focus, with the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
