Job Description

Job Responsibilities:


  • Support the procurement of various goods and services, including capital expenditure (CapEx), operating expenditure (OpEx), fabrics, and raw materials, based on organizational requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including production, logistics, and inventory teams, to understand procurement specifications, align timelines, facilitate order processing, and follow up on deliveries.
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate commercial terms, confirm orders, monitor supplier performance, and ensure timely delivery in line with agreed quality standards.
  • Maintain procurement trackers, documentation, and reports to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Assist in resolving procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and policy compliance matters.
  • Support vendor development initiatives and conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and explore procurement opportunities.


Safeguarding Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.


Qualifications:


Education:


  • A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Textile) from a reputed university


Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, or strategic sourcing
  • Experience in the textile, fashion retail, or manufacturing sector will be an added advantage


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Expertise in procurement analytics, strategic sourcing, and modern ERP software
  • Knowledge of local and international procurement procedures and compliance
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to research, onboard, and negotiate with global suppliers under market constraints
  • Strong cross-departmental coordination, analytical thinking, and clear communication skills
