- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
- Lead the technical implementation of multiple software products simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery.
- Take ownership of system architecture, backend design, database optimization, and API development.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, WebSocket services, background jobs, and microservices where appropriate.
- Review code submitted by team members and maintain high engineering standards through code reviews and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior developers through technical discussions, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
- Break down business requirements into technical solutions and provide accurate development estimations.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application scalability, reliability, and security.
- Participate in architectural discussions and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure proper documentation of system architecture, APIs, and development workflows.
- Promote clean code principles, coding standards, testing, and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
- Assist in sprint planning, technical task allocation, and project execution while helping the team meet delivery deadlines.
- Stay updated with emerging backend technologies, cloud platforms, AI integrations, and modern software development practices.
- Experience: 4-8 years
- Education: master of science in computer science and engineering
- Skills: back-end development, node.js, full-stack development, technical leadership, frontend development, backend development, front-end engineering
