- Ensure effective procurement.
- Selection of Suppliers/Manufactures/Agents through which supply of materials will be ensured.
- Supervise all activities related to the material management
- Adequate knowledge in Purchase both local & foreign.
- Prepare the basis of all sorts of negotiations
- Market Survey, Price Analysis & Source Selection
- Prepare Comparative Statement (C.S) and getting approval from Management Coordinate with other departments for justified material requisitions
- Collect sample of material(s) from vendor(s) and getting approval from Management
- Ensure delivery of materials just in time as per project requirement.
- Supervise/ monitor and coordinate the activities of the vendor/ Sub-Con. to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Vendor/Sub-Con. & engineers, assisting them in problem-solving and decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement engineering standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure quality and compliance with SCM regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production/Engineering and Design, to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities with overall business operations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks or issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of Vendor/Sub-Con, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring to foster professional growth and development.
- Manage engineering budgets, including resource allocation, and cost control, to optimize project outcomes within financial constraints
- Experience: 3 to 7 years
- Education: bachelor of science in industrial engineering
- Skills: supplier management, procurement processes, supply management, supply chain management, subcontracts management, procurement, purchase management, supply chain operations
