Role Description The Senior Executive Accounts role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including preparation and posting of vouchers, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions. The Senior Executive will monitor accounts payable and receivable, assist in cash flow management, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. They will prepare financial statements and reports as needed, assist with budgeting, and help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, external auditors, banks, and vendors, while identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, including ledger management, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office applications (especially Excel), and the ability to work with spreadsheets and financial databases.
• Experience in accounts payable and receivable management, invoice processing, and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical skills for reviewing data and identifying discrepancies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and management.
• Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA partly qualified) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in an accounts or finance role, preferably at senior or executive level; experience in agro, manufacturing, or trading industries is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Dhaka, manage multiple tasks under deadlines, and maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
