Senior DevOps Engineer

US-Bangla Airlines is expanding its Software Division and looking for skilled developers to build our in-house ERP, Reservations and Flight Operations platforms.

What We Do

• Design, build & maintain highly available, scalable, secure cloud & on-premise infra.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD. Manage AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and on-premise/local cloud infrastructure.
• Provision, configure, upgrade, and maintain kubeadm-based Kubernetes clusters. Implement DevSecOps practices, and policy enforcement and private container registries.
• Manage distributed infrastructure and services such as Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL/MySQL. Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage Proxmox, VMware, and other virtualization platforms for on-premise infrastructure Build and maintain observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Elastic APM.
• Improve reliability, automation, performance, security, and cloud costs. Troubleshoot complex production, networking, Kubernetes, and cloud issues.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Product teams. Experiment with cutting-edge tools and next-gen technologies to stay ahead of emerging trends.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to exchange expertise and enhance team skills.

What Youʼll Own

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
• Manage AWS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, and on-prem/local cloud infrastructure.
• Build and manage production Kubernetes clusters EKS & kubeadm.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and automation using Ansible.
• Deploy and manage Kafka clusters, Redis, and other distributed services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot infrastructure and applications using Prometheus, Grafana, & Elastic APM. Implement DevSecOps practices & security controls cloud & on-premise infra.
• Handle Linux administration, networking, performance tuning, and advanced troubleshooting.

What We Need

• Linux: Advanced administration, networking, security, and troubleshooting. AWS: VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ECR, ALB/NLB, EKS, and cost optimization.
• Kubernetes & Docker: Advanced Kubernetes, kubeadm, Helm and multi-cluster management. CI/CD & GitOps: Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Git workflows, and deployment automation. IaC & Automation: Terraform, Ansible, and Bash scripting.
• Distributed Systems: Apache Kafka, Redis, and troubleshooting. Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Elastic APM. 1 / 2sr.devops.md 2026-09-29 Security: Cloudflare, IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning & DevSecOps best practices.
• Scripting/Programming: Advanced Bash; Python or Go is a plus.

Soft skills:

• Strong communication and Team player, documentation and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty.
• Experience with Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.
• Experience with Istio, Linkerd, or other service mesh technologies.
• Experience with Proxmox, VMware, or other virtualization platforms.

Experience: 6 - 10 Years

Education: CSE / SWE / IT or relevant field from reputed University
