Role Description The Senior Counsellor will provide comprehensive guidance to students and families on study abroad options, admission requirements, and visa processes. This full-time, on-site role in Dhaka involves conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing academic profiles, recommending suitable programs and institutions, and supporting applicants through documentation and application timelines. The Senior Counsellor will maintain up-to-date knowledge of international education systems, coordinate with partner institutions, and contribute to information sessions, seminars, and outreach activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries, managing case files, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver a high-quality advisory service. The role also requires mentoring junior counsellors, maintaining professional communication, and upholding organizational standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Strong student counseling and advisory skills, including the ability to assess academic profiles and recommend appropriate study abroad pathways.
• Experience with international education systems and admission processes, ideally for Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and the USA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, families, and institutional partners.
• Solid organizational and documentation abilities, including managing application files, tracking timelines, and maintaining accurate records.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; competency in Bangla and additional languages is an advantage.
• Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Previous experience in education consultancy, student advising, or a related field, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related discipline; relevant professional training or certifications are a plus.
