Role: Senior Consultant


Location: Chattogram, Bangladesh

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site


The Senior Consultant will provide expert guidance to prospective students on international study options, with a primary focus on the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. The role involves course and university selection, profile assessment, admission guidance, document review, mock interviews, and student consultation.


The Senior Consultant will also support the wider counselling team by sharing destination knowledge, keeping the team updated on university policies and admission requirements, conducting training sessions, and mentoring junior consultants.


Key Responsibilities


* Conduct one-to-one consultations with prospective students and provide appropriate study recommendations.

* Assess students’ academic and professional profiles and recommend suitable courses and universities.

* Conduct and support mock interviews, including university and visa-related interview preparation.

* Review student documents and identify missing, inconsistent, or potentially problematic information.

* Stay updated on university admission requirements, policies, scholarships, and international student regulations.

* Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of study destinations, particularly the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

* Guide students through the application process and coordinate with relevant teams.

* Provide accurate information regarding tuition fees, scholarships, funding options, and visa requirements.

* Conduct training and information sessions for students and internal team members.

* Support junior consultants with complex student cases and provide practical guidance.

* Maintain accurate records of student consultations, applications, and follow-ups.

* Contribute to improving internal advisory, application, and interview preparation processes.

* Maintain a professional, ethical, and student-focused approach in all interactions.


Qualifications & Skills


* Proven experience in education consulting, student counselling, admissions, student services, or a related advisory role.

* Strong knowledge of the UK higher education system; knowledge of Australia and New Zealand will be highly valued.

* Strong understanding of university admissions, course selection, entry requirements, and application processes.

* Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with students, university representatives, and internal teams.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and confidently.

* Strong analytical skills to assess student profiles and recommend appropriate study pathways.

* Experience conducting or preparing students for university or visa interviews is an advantage.

* Strong document-checking skills and excellent attention to detail.

* Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple student cases and deadlines.

* Ability to train, mentor, and support junior consultants and contribute to team development.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, online communication platforms, and CRM or student management systems.

* Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Counselling, or a related field. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.

* Ability to work full-time on-site in Chattogram.
