Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Civil Engineer role based in Khilkhet Thana. The Senior Civil Engineer will lead the planning, design, and review of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring technical quality, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and checking engineering drawings and calculations, overseeing stormwater management solutions, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and external stakeholders. The role involves monitoring project progress, resolving technical issues, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting procurement, budgeting, and reporting activities. The Senior Civil Engineer will also contribute to feasibility studies and provide expert input on sustainable and resilient infrastructure design.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills to develop, assess, and optimize infrastructure plans and solutions.
• Experience working as Civil Engineers on complex projects, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple project components.
• Strong Planning capabilities to support project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management practices, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and sustainable water systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in Bangladesh.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
• Proven experience overseeing construction activities, quality control, and site supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
