Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Audit Officer role based in Dhaka. The Senior Audit Officer will plan and execute internal audit assignments across financial, operational, and compliance areas, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing internal controls, assessing risk, verifying the accuracy of financial records, and preparing detailed audit reports with practical recommendations. The role involves coordinating with finance, operations, and IT teams, performing IT-related audit procedures when needed, and following up on the implementation of audit findings. The Senior Audit Officer will also support the development of audit frameworks, contribute to process optimization, and provide guidance to junior audit staff.
Qualifications

• Strong auditing skills, including planning, executing, and documenting audits across multiple business functions.
• Experience preparing clear and comprehensive audit reports that highlight findings, risks, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of IT audit practices and the ability to evaluate basic system controls and data integrity.
• Solid finance knowledge and analytical skills to interpret financial statements, transactions, and variances.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIA) are an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with audit or ERP software.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in internal audit or external audit, preferably in manufacturing or chemical/agrovet sectors, is beneficial.
