Job Context
- The selected candidate will work closely with the design and project execution team on various residential, commercial, office, restaurant, café, showroom, and other interior projects. The role requires a combination of creative design skills, technical knowledge, site coordination, client communication, and project execution ability.
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements, project brief, and budget.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, working drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models, interior visualization, and presentation materials using relevant design software.
- Conduct site visits, take measurements, and ensure design accuracy according to actual site conditions.
- Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Site Engineers, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and other project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Select and recommend suitable materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and other interior elements according to the design concept and project budget.
- Prepare and review BOQ, material specifications, and quantity requirements in coordination with the project team.
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, present design concepts, collect feedback, and make necessary revisions.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure proper implementation of approved designs.
- Monitor ongoing site work to ensure that construction and interior works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and design intent.
- Identify and resolve design and site-related issues during project execution.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, material selections, and project-related information.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, technologies, and industry standards.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned design and project-related tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Experience: 3-6 years
