About TaskSplice
TaskSplice is a U.S.-based AI and workflow automation company focused on helping businesses improve how work moves across their operations.
We design and implement intelligent workflow systems that connect business applications, automate repetitive processes, structure information, improve operational visibility, and apply AI where it creates practical business value.
We are looking for a Senior AI & Workflow Automation Developer with strong n8n experience to support project-based client and internal automation work.
This is an independent contractor opportunity. The selected developer will begin with a defined paid project, with the potential for additional projects or an ongoing monthly retainer based on performance and future project needs.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll design and build production-ready automation systems involving n8n, APIs, AI models, business applications, databases, and operational workflows.
Typical projects may include intelligent work intake, opportunity research and qualification, CRM automation, AI-assisted classification and information extraction, client onboarding, sales-to-delivery handoffs, operational monitoring, RAG/knowledge workflows, reporting automation, and other business process automations.
This role requires more than connecting nodes. We’re looking for someone who can understand the underlying business process, identify missing requirements, design the architecture, build the solution, account for failure conditions, test it properly, document it clearly, and prepare it for reliable handoff.
Required Technical Experience
Strong practical experience with:
• n8n workflow automation
• REST APIs, webhooks, and HTTP requests
• OAuth, API keys, tokens, and authentication
• JSON and data transformation
• JavaScript for workflow logic and API payloads
• OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or comparable LLM APIs
• Prompt design and structured AI outputs
• Workflow debugging, error handling, retries, and recovery logic
• Git / GitHub
You should also be comfortable reading API documentation and integrating systems even when a prebuilt n8n node does not exist.
What We Value
We care more about demonstrated production capability than degrees or certifications.
Strong candidates will be able to show real workflows they have built, explain architectural decisions, identify edge cases, communicate risks and blockers clearly, document their work, and take ownership of technical delivery.
Experience with PostgreSQL, Supabase, RAG, vector databases, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CRM integrations, Docker, or AI-agent architectures is a plus.
Working Arrangement
• Remote independent contractor in Bangladesh
• Initial defined paid project
• Work may generally be completed according to your own schedule and agreed milestones
• Some overlap with U.S. Central Time will be required for scheduled reviews and technical discussions
• Strong written English and consistent communication during active projects are expected
High-performing contractors may be considered for additional projects, an ongoing monthly retainer, increased technical ownership, architecture reviews, and future mentorship of junior developers.
