Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts for Deeplaid Group and its business units. Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and monitoring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and relevant regulations. The role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reviewing expense reports, supporting audits, and providing financial analysis to management for decision-making. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation.
• Candidates should possess solid budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills to support management decisions and business planning.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements applicable to diversified business groups.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Relevant experience in a senior accounting or similar role, preferably within a group of companies or complex multi-entity environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
