Position: Manager / Senior Manager – Factory Accounts

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Factory Accounts Manager to oversee the accounting, financial & costing activities of the manufacturing facility. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, budget management, compliance, and strong financial governance at factory level.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all factory accounting and finance activities, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, inventory accounting, payroll-related accounting, and month-end closing.

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and factory P&L.

• Monitor manufacturing costs, production expenses, and overheads to identify cost-control opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

• Analyze budget versus actual performance and provide timely variance analysis with corrective action recommendations.

• Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and periodic business projections in coordination with factory and corporate management.

• Ensure proper accounting and valuation of raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, and other inventories.

• Prepare investment feasibility and financial analysis reports for CAPEX and other business initiatives as required by management.

• Partner with Factory Management, Production, Planning, HR, Supply Chain, and other functions to improve financial and operational performance.

• Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax, VAT, and applicable statutory requirements.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business decisions and profitability improvement.

Educational Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance.

• CA/CMA (part-qualified or completed) is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 4–8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

• Candidates should have strong experience in manufacturing, preferably Garments, Textile.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems will be an added advantage.
