Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize SIEM for effective detection and response.
• Develop and maintain correlation rules, alerts, and reports in SIEM platform.
• Implement and configure SOAR, TIP, MDR, XDR, VA, UBA, IDPS to SIEM platform.
• Integrate threat intelligence feeds and apply them for proactive detection of threats.
• Resolve alerts, log forwarding, data parsing, and ingestion issues.
• Apply patches and upgrades to SOC tools to improve performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain playbooks and runbooks.
• Perform rules partitioning and tuning to handle maximum level of EPS.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve SOC tools issues to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and maintain custom rules for malware detection and response platform.
• Configure antivirus engines with malware detection and response platform.
• Configure and label artifacts within SIEM platform.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field from a recognized university.

Special Qualification/Skill:

SOC tools configuration

Training: Must hold at least one of the following certifications: CASE, CDE, or CSE.

Experience (in specific field):

Minimum 3 (three) years of relevant hands-on experience in security engineering.
