Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will work full time on-site in Dhaka, Bangladesh, focusing on improving search visibility and lead generation for pet business clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing keyword research, conducting detailed SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, and analyzing performance data using web analytics tools. The specialist will implement and manage link-building campaigns, optimize Google Business Profiles, and collaborate with the wider team on content strategy and website improvements. This role also involves monitoring rankings, preparing performance reports, and continuously testing and refining SEO tactics to achieve measurable growth in local search and map results.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in keyword research and on-page SEO.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in conducting SEO audits for local and niche businesses.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in link building and managing off-page SEO initiatives.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in web analytics and reporting using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Solid understanding of local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and map-pack ranking factors.
• Experience working with service-based or small business clients; experience with pet businesses is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret data, prioritize SEO opportunities, and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with common SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar) and basic HTML/CSS for on-page implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
