Role Description The Science Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum for appropriate grade levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching subjects such as general science, physics, and related mathematics concepts, facilitating laboratory activities, and using varied instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher will monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, provide regular feedback, and participate in parent-teacher communication. Additional duties include contributing to curriculum development, attending staff meetings and professional development sessions, and supporting school events and initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Canadian Trillinium International School in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Science, with subject knowledge in Chemistry, Physics and related scientific disciplines.
• Ability to integrate science instruction to support conceptual understanding and problem-solving.
• Qualified Teacher status with proven skills in Lesson Planning and classroom management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Science, or a related field.
• Experience teaching at elementary or middle school levels, preferably in an international or English-medium school.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and to the school’s values of respect, tolerance, inclusion, and excellence.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and collaborative work with colleagues.
