Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Chattogram, Bangladesh. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities with shipping lines, NVOCCs, freight forwarders, and cargo owners, as well as nurturing relationships with existing clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing commercial proposals and quotations, and negotiating terms in line with company policies. The Sales Specialist will collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure service quality, resolve client issues, and support end-to-end logistics solutions. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales records, reporting on performance and pipeline activities, and participating in sales training, market research, and promotional initiatives to support revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales and Sales Management skills to drive revenue growth, manage pipelines, and meet or exceed targets.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective presentation abilities.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to build trust, handle inquiries, and support long-term client relationships.
• Candidates should possess experience in Training to support knowledge sharing within the sales team and help onboard new colleagues.
• Relevant experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or liner agency operations is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic CRM systems for reporting, forecasting, and client management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
