Role Description The Sales Manager (Advanced Chemistry Reactive Dyestuff) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka. The role involves managing and growing sales of reactive dyestuffs and related advanced chemical products, particularly within the textile industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, and providing technical and commercial guidance on product selection and application. The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with technical and lab teams to offer tailored solutions, prepare and deliver product presentations, and support trials at customer facilities. The role also includes monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and pricing, preparing regular sales forecasts and reports, and ensuring that sales activities align with the company’s standards for quality, sustainability, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills in B2B environments, preferably within the textile chemicals or reactive dyestuff sector.
• Solid technical understanding of reactive dyes, textile processing, and advanced chemistry concepts, with the ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
• Proficiency in customer relationship management, negotiation, and key account handling, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical, lab, and operations teams.
• Good analytical and reporting skills, including market analysis, sales forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in sales of dyes, chemicals, or textile auxiliaries in Bangladesh or regional markets is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to travel locally to customer sites and mills, and to engage in on-site technical and commercial discussions.
