Role Description The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based at Haque Store in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Sales Executive will greet and assist customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products to support a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include managing product display, ensuring shelves are stocked, handling basic inquiries about pricing and promotions, and processing sales using the store’s point-of-sale system. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of daily sales activities, supporting inventory checks, and coordinating with the store management team to achieve sales targets. The Sales Executive is expected to uphold store policies, contribute to a clean and orderly environment, and collaborate with colleagues to improve overall store performance.
Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with a diverse customer base.
• Basic sales and retail operations skills, including product upselling, handling transactions, and supporting inventory management.
• Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple customer requests, maintain displays, and complete daily tasks efficiently.
• Comfort with using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; willingness to learn new tools and processes.
• Good numerical skills for handling cash, reconciling sales, and understanding discounts or promotions.
• Prior experience in retail or frontline sales is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training may be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks associated with stocking and store upkeep.
• Minimum secondary school education; additional coursework or training in business, marketing, or sales is an advantage.
• Reliability, honesty, and a proactive attitude toward improving customer satisfaction and meeting store goals.
