Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka. This role is responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection to ensure a positive shopping experience. Day-to-day tasks include handling cash and card transactions, operating the point-of-sale system, restocking shelves, rotating inventory, and maintaining clean aisles and displays. The Sales Associate also monitors product quality, reports low stock or issues to the supervisor, and supports basic store opening and closing procedures. Collaboration with other team members to meet sales targets and uphold store standards is expected.
Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills to interact courteously and clearly with a diverse range of shoppers.
• Basic sales and merchandising abilities, including product knowledge, upselling, and maintaining attractive, well-organized displays.
• Cash handling and point-of-sale skills, with accuracy in billing, managing change, and processing card payments.
• Organization and attention to detail for stock rotation, checking product dates, and ensuring store cleanliness.
• Reliability and teamwork, with the ability to follow instructions, support colleagues, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic numerical and literacy skills; prior retail or grocery experience is an advantage but not required.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move products and boxes as needed.
