- Assist the Safety Officer in implementing HSE policies, safety procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe acts, conditions, and hazards.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and availability of firefighting and first-aid equipment.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and worker safety awareness programs.
- Monitor compliance with JSA, Risk Assessment, Method Statement, and PTW requirements.
- Supervise high-risk activities including work at height, lifting, excavation, scaffolding, hot work, and electrical work.
- Ensure safe use of machinery, equipment, tools, and proper site housekeeping.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses, and emergencies.
- Assist in accident/incident investigation and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain daily safety inspection, training, and HSE records.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, workers, and subcontractors on safety matters.
- Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture at the project site.
- Experience: 3+ years
- Education: diploma in engineering
- Skills: construction safety, health and safety, industrial safety, site supervision, occupational health and safety, safety management, safety & compliance engineering, site supervision, construction safety standards
