Retail Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Own monthly, weekly and daily sales targets and drive team performance against KPIs.
• Monitor sales, footfall, conversion, ATV and UPT and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Lead and develop the store team, including Assistant Store Managers, Supervisors and Beauty Advisors.
• Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews and product/sales training.
• Deliver a high-quality, personalised customer experience and handle escalated complaints effectively.
• Drive loyalty-program enrolment, repeat customers and positive customer reviews.
• Ensure excellent visual merchandising, hygiene, grooming and store presentation.
• Maintain proper tester management and ensure timely execution of launches and promotional campaigns.
• Control inventory through cycle counts, stock-taking, FIFO and loss-prevention procedures.
• Ensure accurate cash/card/MFS reconciliation, EOD reporting and store MIS.
• Manage controllable operating costs within budget.
• Maintain compliance with all store SOPs and operational standards.

Additional Requirements

• 3–6 years of retail experience, including at least 1–2 years as a Store/Outlet Manager or equivalent.
• Experience in high-volume retail sales and team management.
• Beauty, cosmetics, premium lifestyle or specialty retail experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of retail KPIs, POS/MIS and MS Excel.
• Excellent Bangla & English communication skills.
• Smart, confident, energetic, extroverted and strong team player.
• Strong leadership, coaching and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to work at different locations in Bangladesh when required.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Retail, Business, Beauty/Fashion background is an advantage.
