Role Description The Restaurant Manager at Italy Now in Chattogram, Bangladesh is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations in an on-site, full-time capacity. This role includes managing front-of-house and back-of-house teams, coordinating staffing and scheduling, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage service aligned with Italy Now’s brand standards. The Restaurant Manager monitors service quality, addresses guest feedback, and implements initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and overall guest experience. Additional responsibilities include supervising hiring and training, managing inventory and vendor relationships, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and supporting basic budgeting, cost control, and reporting. The role requires close collaboration with senior management to execute promotional activities and uphold a welcoming, efficient environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a track record of maintaining high guest experience standards.
• Experience in team leadership and personnel management, including Hiring, training, and performance oversight.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams, interact with guests, and clearly convey expectations.
• Hands-on Food & Beverage operations experience, including menu understanding, service workflows, and quality control.
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a supervisory role within hospitality or food service.
• Knowledge of basic budgeting, cost control, and inventory management in a restaurant setting.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Chattogram, Bangladesh, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
