Research Fellow

Role Description The Research Fellow is a full-time, on-site role based in Mohammadpur Thana. The role involves designing and conducting research projects, including developing research proposals, selecting appropriate methodologies, and managing data collection and analysis. The Research Fellow will collaborate with trainers and consultants to integrate research findings into training materials and client advisory reports. Daily tasks include literature reviews, preparing research instruments, coordinating with participants or partner organizations, and ensuring ethical and quality standards are met. The role also includes preparing clear reports, presentations, and knowledge products to communicate findings to internal stakeholders and clients, and contributing to the development of new training modules and consultancy offerings.

Qualifications

• Strong research design and methodology skills, including experience with qualitative and/or quantitative approaches.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation using relevant tools and techniques.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive literature reviews and synthesize academic and applied research findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail in research activities.
• Comfort working on-site in Mohammadpur Thana and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Education, Public Policy, Business, or related discipline).
• Experience in training, capacity-building, or consultancy environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with research ethics, project management principles, and basic statistical or analytical software is beneficial.
