Role Description The Remote Visual Designer for SaaS products is a contract role responsible for creating cohesive, high-quality visual designs for web-based financial and compliance platforms. Day-to-day tasks include designing user interfaces and marketing assets, refining design systems, and collaborating with product, engineering, and content teams to translate complex financial concepts into clear, accessible visual experiences. The designer will produce layouts, icons, illustrations, and branding elements that support usability, clarity, and trust for enterprise SaaS products. This is a remote role that requires working effectively across time zones, communicating asynchronously, and delivering production-ready design files aligned with product milestones.

Qualifications

• Strong Visual Design and Web Design skills for SaaS products and digital interfaces.
• Proficiency in Graphic Design and Graphics creation for product UI and marketing materials.
• Experience in Branding, including visual identity systems, typography, and color palettes.
• Advanced skills in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Portfolio demonstrating B2B or enterprise SaaS design work, ideally in fintech or complex technical domains.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, contract setting and manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and design systems for scalable products.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, compliance).
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
