Regional Manager

Role Description The Regional Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Magura District, responsible for overseeing the implementation of SDC initiatives at the regional level. This role manages day-to-day operations, including coordinating digital projects, supervising regional staff, and ensuring alignment with national strategies and policies. The Regional Manager monitors project progress, prepares reports, and communicates regularly with central SDC offices and local stakeholders. The position involves building partnerships with local government bodies, community organizations, and service providers to promote digital solutions and improve regional service delivery. The Regional Manager also identifies local needs, proposes improvements, and supports change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new systems and practices.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
• Experience in project or program management, including planning, coordination, and tracking of multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present information clearly and collaborate with public and private partners.
• Solid understanding of digital transformation, public administration, or ICT-related initiatives, preferably within the public sector.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to assess regional needs, interpret data, and recommend practical solutions.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a regional or field management role is highly desirable, especially within government or non-profit organizations.
• High ethical standards, commitment to public service, and readiness to work on-site in Magura District.
