Job Context

We are a dynamic fabric supplying company looking for an experienced QC (Quality Controller) with strong technical expertise in fabric and garment washing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring shade consistency, controlling wash defects, and conducting rigorous quality inspections to meet international buyer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform process-wise, in-line, and final inspections of washed fabric/garments at washing factories or mills.
• Monitor chemical usage, wash cycles, and temperature to ensure adherence to approved standard recipes.
• Evaluate wash samples for look, hand-feel, shade accuracy, and colorfastness against buyer specifications.
• Inspect, identify, and control major washing defects like shade variation, puckering, patch marks, or fabric damage.
• Conduct pre-production meetings (PPM) and evaluate pilot runs before giving bulk wash approval.
• Coordinate efficiently between production, merchandisers, and washing facilities to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain precise inspection reports, defect logs, and quality check records daily.
