Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance / Quality Control role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The role involves planning and executing QA/QC activities across the apparel production process, including inspections of raw materials, in-line and final product checks, and verification of factory compliance with quality standards. The QA/QC professional will review technical specifications, measurement charts, and sample approvals, and ensure that production aligns with buyer requirements and international quality norms. Responsibilities include documenting quality findings, preparing reports, supporting audits, and collaborating with merchandising, production, and factory teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. The role also includes continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce defects, and strengthen overall quality management within the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Quality Control, with hands-on experience in inspection, testing, and defect analysis for apparel or textile products.
• Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, including the design, implementation, and monitoring of quality systems and procedures.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ability to apply GMP principles to factory operations and process controls.
• Experience in Quality Auditing, including conducting internal and external audits, reporting findings, and following up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Familiarity with internationally recognized compliance and sustainability standards (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO, OEKO-TEX, GOTS, GRS, BCI, ZDHC) is an advantage.
• Relevant academic background in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation and reporting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and factory partners.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and visit factories as needed.
