Job Responsibilities
- Assure product quality starting from fabric to shipment of the goods with honesty and integrity.
- Samples follow-up as per order protocol to ensure right submission together with respective Merchandisers.
- In-process quality control during Knitting, Dying, cutting, printing, sewing, washing, finishing & packing and reporting to the local office.
- Conduct Pre-production meetings and risk assessment and report to the local office.
- Give technical guidelines for production and make corrections on patterns (if required).
- Give bulk cutting permission followed by Approved size set and PPS.
- Counter-checking inspection files and Approved samples and checking fabric quality and weight, accessories, styling, measurement, workmanship, packing, shipping mark and review packing summary, etc. to ensure that the requirement of the buyers meets in coordination with the respective Merchandisers.
- Production follows up at the factory to ensure on-time delivery and daily factory visit report to local office.
- Diagnose production problems and work with suppliers to present alternatives/solutions.
- Prejudgment over production planning, productivity, and possible delay in shipment.
- Pick-up samples from bulk for tests as applicable.
- Pickup shipment cartons randomly as applicable.
- Conduct In-line, Pre-final, Final inspections and report immediately after inspection.
- Make sure shipment samples are submitted for future ref.
- Should be able to provide necessary historical data and Explanation when need be (in case of any question and/or complaint).
- Experience: 5-10 years
- Education:
- Skills: technical knowledge of garment production, garment industry knowledge, textile inspection, garment production, textile industry knowledge, garment manufacturing, knit garment production, textile testing, knit garment manufacturing, textile knowledge
