QC & Warehouse Incharge

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly vigilant and hands-on QC & Warehouse Incharge to oversee technical quality control, warehouse management, and vendor procurement. The QC & Warehouse Incharge will ensure raw material compliance, finished product safety, real-time inventory tracking, and seamless cross-functional operations across the laboratory, warehouse floor, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Food Safety

• Review analytical reports for all Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and bulk batches against established SOPs.
• Inspect finished goods and authorize product release/shipment only when strict standard criteria are met.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, test reagent strength, and perform routine calibration and maintenance on QC instruments.
• Audit production floor hygiene, sanitation practices, cleaning agent application, and online QC checkpoints.
• Oversee site-wide pest control programs and maintain overall facility sanitary conditions.
• Address assembly line quality issues immediately, implement corrective actions, and log detailed non-conformance/rejection reports.
• Maintain retention sample archives, manage analytical logs, and support compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., HACCP, ISO, BSTI).

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Direct daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe handling, receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished food products.
• Enforce food-grade storage standards, including strict FEFO/FIFO material usage and temperature management.
• Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records using inventory software and physical registers.
• Coordinate with production and procurement teams to prevent stockouts and avoid line downtime.
• Optimize warehouse floor layouts to improve spatial efficiency, safety, and material handling speeds.
• Execute periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.

Procurement & Sourcing

• Manage end-to-end purchasing for required Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM).
• Identify, audit, and onboard reliable vendors; negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor material lead times and usage trends to schedule timely deliveries.
• Conduct ongoing vendor performance evaluations based on quality compliance, delivery speed, and cost efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or a related science discipline. (Certifications or coursework in Supply Chain/Logistics are a plus).
• Experience in FMCG (Packaged Food), Food Manufacturing, or E-commerce food operations.
• Strong understanding of laboratory testing, food safety regulations (HACCP/ISO/BSTI), and inventory tracking systems.
