- Identifying suitable suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating favorable terms and prices for goods and services.
- Creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Monitoring stock levels, coordinating with warehouse staff, and ensuring adequate inventory to meet operational needs.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating price reductions, and ensuring purchases are within budget.
- Ensuring all purchasing activities adhere to relevant regulations and company policies.
- Preparing reports on purchasing activities, costs, and inventory levels.
- Addressing any issues related to purchase orders, deliveries, or vendor performance.
- Experience: 2-4 years
- Education: bachelor of supply chain management
