- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to ensure cost efficiency and quality procurement.
- Source reliable suppliers, vendors, and contractors; maintain strong relationships for long-term business benefits.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store/warehouse to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery time, and cost.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and alternative sourcing.
- Coordinate with different departments (production, accounts, logistics) for procurement planning.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier details.
- Handle import-related documentation (if applicable) and ensure timely clearance.
- Prepare procurement reports and present to management regularly.
- Experience: 8+ years
