Role Description:-

This is an on-site role for a Psychologist (Child & Adolescent) at Bangladesh Psychiatric Care Ltd. (BPCL), located in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. The Psychologist will work with children, adolescents, parents/caregivers, and other members of the multidisciplinary mental health team to provide psychological assessment, intervention, counseling, and therapeutic support.

Job Description:-

• Conduct psychological assessments for children and adolescents based on their emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychological needs.
• Provide individual psychological counseling and psychotherapy to children and adolescents.
• Develop appropriate intervention and treatment plans based on assessment findings and clinical needs.
• Provide guidance, counseling, and psychoeducation to parents and caregivers.
• Work with children experiencing behavioral difficulties, emotional concerns, developmental challenges, academic difficulties, and other psychological issues.
• Maintain proper clinical documentation, case notes, assessment records, and progress reports.
• Monitor clients' progress and modify intervention plans when necessary.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, educational psychologists, therapists, special educators, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow professional and ethical standards in psychological practice.
• Support BPCL's child and adolescent mental health programs, workshops, awareness initiatives, and related clinical activities when required.
• Ensure compassionate, professional, and patient-centered psychological care.

Qualifications:-

• Minimum M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or Educational Psychology.
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent psychology, psychological assessment, counseling, and therapeutic intervention.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, adolescents, parents, and caregivers.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical, hospital, mental health, or educational setting will be an advantage.

Employment Details:-

• Employment Type: (Full-time 6 days per week or Part-time 3 alternative days per week)
• Working Hours: 5 PM to 10 PM
• Working Days: Saturday to Thursday
• Weekly Off: Friday
