Role Summary

The Project Manager: Mass Transit Integration will own the complete operational deployment and ground level execution of Jobike's micro mobility services across Dhaka Metro Rail (DMTCL) stations. Sitting at the intersection of urban transport infrastructure, government liaison, and fast paced startup execution, you will lead cross functional teams to build physical station hubs, establish fleet supply chains, and ensure seamless service launch. You will be directly responsible for delivering station milestones on time, managing the rollout budget, and tracking key operational metrics.

The Mission

Jobike is expanding its urban micro mobility network across Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) metro stations. We need an execution focused project leader to own the end to end ground setup, authority liaison, fleet logistics, and station launch execution.

What You Will Do

• Government & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as Jobike's primary representative to DMTCL and related government agencies. Secure all necessary site permissions, right of way clearances, ground layout sign offs, and regulatory approvals across MRT stations.
• Public Private Liaison Mastery: Proven track record of navigating government authorities, municipal bodies, or public sector agencies in Bangladesh with tact, persistence, and efficiency. 
• Hub Infrastructure Setup: Lead the physical establishment of Jobike parking zones and hubs at metro station premises, managing spatial allocations, signage, geofenced boundaries, and site security.
• Fleet Logistics & Supply Chain: Direct the staging, supply, and distribution of bicycles and smart IoT hardware across all designated station hubs. Set up field workflows for daily rebalancing and ground maintenance.
• Budget & Financial Control: Own and manage the setup budget (CAPEX) and deployment expenses (OPEX), ensuring the rollout is completed cost effectively without overruns.
• KPI & Operational Performance: Track key operational metrics including station rollout timelines, fleet availability rate, vendor compliance, and daily user adoption.
• Cross Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with Jobike's engineering and product teams to align smart lock connectivity, geofenced drop zones, and mobile app station maps with physical on ground setups.
• Timeline & Governance Ownership: Drive project milestones strictly against tender deadlines. Identify potential bottlenecks, vendor delays, site access restrictions, or space disputes, and resolve them proactively.
• Field Operations Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage ground marshals, fleet captains, and technicians deployed across metro stations to maintain high fleet uptime and customer readiness.

Who You Are

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years leading complex physical operations, transport integration, fleet logistics, or urban infrastructure rollouts.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of working with state authorities, municipal bodies, or public transit agencies in Bangladesh with tact and efficiency.
• Startup Mindset: High agency, resilient, and proactive. You operate well with high autonomy, solve unpredictable field challenges fast, and focus on execution rather than red tape.
• Data & Process Driven: Comfortable using project management tools (Asana, Jira, MS Project) and using spatial or operational data to optimize hub placement and rebalancing routes.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields. PMP certification is a strong plus.
