About The Role
DG Infotech is looking for a Project Management Intern to support the project management team in coordinating timelines, tracking deliverables, and keeping documentation organized across active projects. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for someone early in their career who wants real exposure to how IT/software projects are planned and delivered, working directly under the Project Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining project trackers, timelines, and status dashboards.
- Take notes during status meetings and help distribute clear action items to the right people.
- Support the Project Management Executive in preparing status reports and stakeholder updates.
- Help organize and maintain project documentation (scope notes, meeting minutes, shared folders).
- Follow up on open action items and flag anything at risk of missing its deadline.
- Learn and help apply project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar) used by the team.
- Take on small, well-scoped coordination tasks as assigned, with increasing responsibility over the internship.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and willing to learn project management software.
- Proactive attitude — comfortable asking questions and following up rather than waiting to be told everything.
- No prior project management experience required — this role is designed as a learning opportunity.
- Any prior exposure to project coordination, even informal (college projects, event coordination, student clubs).
- Basic familiarity with Agile/Scrum concepts.
- Direct mentorship from the Project Management Executive and exposure to real client/internal project delivery.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard project management tools and processes.
- A clear path to a full-time Project Management Executive role based on performance, if a position is available at the end of the internship
