Project Engineer

Role Description The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka. This role is responsible for overseeing daily project engineering activities, including coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure work is executed according to design, safety standards, and schedule. The Project Engineer will assist in project planning, prepare and review technical drawings and documentation, monitor progress, and support cost and resource control. The position involves troubleshooting engineering issues, supporting quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and client requirements. The role also includes regular communication with stakeholders, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of construction processes.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors, and for preparing clear technical reports.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in an engineering or project coordination role.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing project needs.
• Proficiency in engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar) is an advantage.
