Samaj Kalyan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and poverty-free society that ensures everyone's basic needs and rights. SKUS has, since the 2017 Rohingya refugee influx, worked in Cox's Bazar district with children, adolescents, women, and men. Based on children, adolescents, women, and human rights. SKUS has established quality learning and protection centers with support from different international donors, including UN agencies. SKUS has an agreement with Plan International Bangladesh for the SBF project for Rohingya communities at Rohingya Camps, Ukhia Upazila under Cox's Bazar District. The aim of this project is to advance quality education for Rohingya children in all their diversity in Cox’s Bazar Rohingya refugee camps.

Role Purpose

The Program Organizer will be responsible for the implementation of the proposed intervention and responds to the immediate education needs of children adolescents, and youth in Camp (aged 3-17) through an education in emergency consisting of a number of Learning Facility (LC & CBLF) in targeted areas. She/he will ensure the delivery and achievement of program outputs in particular establishment of ECD, MC ALP and PSCD spaces. S/he will support the identification and mobilization and training of facilitators and caregivers, Rohingya and national teaching volunteers in the camp for the meeting, training, delivery of ECCD- Early Childhood Care and Development, for targeted children including MC-Myanmar Curriculum, PSCD and development of learning kits and parenting material. S/he will communicate frequently with TOs for preparing work plans and reporting. S/he will take a proactive stance in identifying and mitigating Child Protection-related risks in the implementation of the project interventions and will represent SKUS at the sub-District Level (Ukhiya).

The role also promotes safeguarding, accountability, gender equality, disability inclusion, and protection-sensitive education to ensure safe, inclusive, and quality learning environments.

Duration of contract: Up to May 31, 2028, and contingent on donor extension and government approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Support education needs assessment as needed in intervention target areas.
• Support day-to-day teaching and learning, mentoring facilitators, supporting volunteers, and ensuring program delivery.

• Experience: At least 3 years
• Education: masters in any discipline
