We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Merchandiser – Denim to join our dynamic team. If you have strong expertise in denim apparel sourcing, production management, and buyer communication, this is your chance to take ownership of key accounts and deliver results in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Order & Critical Path Management
- Lead the end-to-end merchandising process for denim orders.
- Develop and monitor T&A (Time & Action) plans, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Anticipate delays and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Buyer & Supplier Communication
- Act as the primary contact for buyers, suppliers, and factories.
- Maintain strong follow-up to ensure shipment timelines are achieved.
- Confidently manage international denim clients and production partners.
- Ownership & Accountability
- Take full responsibility for denim orders from development to shipment.
- Ensure 100% on-time delivery and compliance with buyer requirements.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making
- Resolve production delays, wash/finishing challenges, and quality issues effectively.
- Make practical, timely decisions under pressure.
- Quality & Approval Management
- Oversee all approvals including wash standards, lab dips, fit samples, and bulk samples.
- Ensure strict adherence to buyer specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Time Management & Multitasking
- Manage multiple denim styles, orders, and suppliers simultaneously.
- Prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Experience: 4-6 years
- Education:
- Skills: merchandise planning, apparel sourcing, fashion merchandising, technical knowledge of garment production, denim, garment manufacturing, merchandising software, supplier management, purchase management, merchandising
