Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gazipur Sadar Upazila, responsible for overseeing daily production activities and ensuring that output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets. This role involves planning and scheduling production, monitoring workflow, allocating resources, and coordinating with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to avoid bottlenecks and downtime. The Production Manager leads and mentors production staff, implements safety and compliance procedures, and maintains clear documentation and reporting on production performance. The role also includes analyzing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and driving initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and support the company’s operational goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in production management, factory operations, or manufacturing supervision.
• Strong skills in production planning, workflow coordination, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of quality control processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead teams, provide coaching, and manage performance in a fair and consistent manner.
• Competence in using production management software, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and frontline staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Experience in Gazipur or similar industrial areas, and familiarity with local labor and safety practices, is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site full time, with flexibility for extended hours when required by production schedules.
