The Opportunity

We are seeking a Product Development Assistant to support the production of our collections.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the full sampling process, from first samples through revisions, fit samples and final approved samples
• Coordinating bulk production following sample approval and monitoring progress through to completion
• Liaising with tailors, pattern makers, embroidery and craft artisans, fabric suppliers and production partners from all across Bangladesh, including in rural areas, and visiting them when required
• Sourcing fabrics, trims, buttons, linings and other garment components
• Reviewing samples against design specifications and communicating required corrections
• Assisting with fittings, measurements and sample evaluations
• Tracking sampling and bulk production timelines to ensure agreed deadlines are met
• Supporting quality control across both sampling and bulk production
• Maintaining organised records of specifications, costing, sourcing and development updates

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about fashion and textiles. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, time management and communication skills, with strong proficiency in both written and verbal English. You are someone that is proactive, a go-getter and are excited about learning about Bangladeshi craft and heritage textiles. You are also happy to work remotely but will travel to meetings across Dhaka and across Bangladesh where required.

Experience in fashion production, product development, garment manufacturing, textiles or sourcing is highly regarded. Recent fashion or textile graduates are encouraged to apply.
