About The Role

As a Product Analyst Intern, you will work closely with the Product, Engineering, Design, and Business teams to understand how users interact with the Nextjobz platform and help improve the product through reliable data and testing.

Your primary responsibilities will include product data analysis, data tracking, data-quality improvement, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new releases. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working with data, investigating problems, and turning findings into practical product improvements. What You’ll Do

• Analyze product data to identify user behaviour, trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
• Prepare regular reports and summaries on key product metrics
• Maintain product data trackers, dashboards, and analysis documents
• Support the setup, documentation, and validation of product event tracking
• Monitor data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and freshness
• Identify missing, duplicate, incorrect, or inconsistent data and coordinate with relevant teams to improve data quality
• Conduct UAT for new features, improvements, and product releases
• Prepare test scenarios, document findings, and report defects clearly
• Verify resolved issues before features are released
• Work with Product Managers and Engineers to investigate product and data-related problems
• Support other product research and analysis tasks when required
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Strong interest in product analytics, data analysis, and digital products
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and structured data
• Strong attention to detail when validating data and testing product features
• Ability to communicate findings clearly through reports, presentations, and discussions
• Willingness to investigate problems, learn independently, and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Comfortable using AI tools to support research, analysis, documentation, and problem-solving
  
  

Nice To Have, But Not Required

• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, filters, charts, and pivot tables
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude
• Ability to write effective prompts and verify AI-generated outputs before using them
• Exposure to analytics or dashboard tools such as Google Analytics, Metabase or Looker Studio
• Basic understanding of software testing or User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience with academic research, data projects, internships, or campus technology initiatives
