Role Description The Principal Officer at First Security Islami Bank PLC will oversee day-to-day branch and operational activities, ensuring Shariah-compliant banking services are delivered efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities include supervising staff performance, managing customer service quality, monitoring transactions and documentation, and ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk management standards. The Principal Officer will analyze business performance, contribute to branch-level business development, prepare reports for management, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Khilgaon Thana, requiring regular interaction with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to support the bank’s mission and growth objectives.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong banking operations and branch management skills, including oversight of day-to-day transactions and process compliance.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Islamic banking principles, Shariah-compliant products, and related regulatory frameworks.
• Candidates should possess skills in customer relationship management, service quality assurance, and dispute resolution.
• Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to review performance data and prepare concise management reports.
• Candidates should possess leadership and team supervision skills, with the ability to guide, mentor, and evaluate staff.
• Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English and Bangla.
• Relevant academic qualification such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role within banking or financial services, especially in Islamic banking, will be highly beneficial.
• Candidates should demonstrate high ethical standards, integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced on-site environment.
