Role Description The Prepress Machinery Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This role is responsible for operating, calibrating, and maintaining prepress machinery, including CTP systems, plate processors, and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include preparing files for printing, performing preflight checks, ensuring color accuracy, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with design and production teams to meet project timelines. The specialist will review artwork for print readiness, optimize layouts for various printing and packaging formats, and support continuous improvement in prepress workflows and safety practices.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in pre-press operations and workflows.
• Practical skills in printing processes and print design for various formats and substrates.
• Ability to perform detailed preflight checks to ensure files are print-ready and error-free.
• Experience with packaging design and adapting artwork for different packaging specifications.
• Familiarity with industry-standard prepress and design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, RIP software).
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple jobs under tight deadlines.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, or a related field; prior experience in a prepress or printing environment is highly preferred.
