Power Automate & Python Automation Analyst

Salary: 20,000 - 25,000 Monthly

I’m looking for a technically minded problem solver who can help design and build automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Python and related tools.

The role will involve taking business processes that are currently manual or inefficient and working out how they can be automated.

You won't necessarily be given a complete technical specification. Instead, you'll be given the outcome we want to achieve, and you'll be expected to work out how to get there.

• Design and build workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Automate repetitive business and research processes.
• Use Python to process, transform and analyse data.
• Connect Excel, SharePoint, Power BI and other Microsoft tools.
• Work with APIs and external data sources where appropriate.
• Automate data collection and preparation.
• Troubleshoot failed workflows and identify the underlying cause.
• Improve existing automations rather than simply maintaining them.
• Research unfamiliar technologies and determine whether they can solve a particular problem.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
• Document solutions and processes.
• Work with me to identify opportunities for further automation.

Essential:

• Microsoft Power Automate.
• Python.
• Excel.
• Strong logical/problem-solving ability.
• Understanding of data structures and data manipulation.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently.

Desirable:

• Power BI.
• Power Query / M.
• SharePoint.
• Microsoft Graph/API.
• REST APIs.
• JSON.
• Web scraping.
• SQL.
• Git/GitHub.
• Azure/Microsoft Fabric.

This is probably more important than the technology.

I need someone who can receive a requirement such as:

• What information is required?
• Where does it come from?
• Can it be accessed automatically?
• What tools should we use?
• What happens if the source changes?
• How should errors be handled?
• What should the workflow look like?
• Can Python solve part of the problem more efficiently?
• What is the simplest reliable solution?

You should be someone who investigates before asking for help.
