- Install, maintain, repair, and replace water supply, drainage, sewerage, and sanitary plumbing systems throughout the shopping mall and commercial complex.
- Conduct routine inspections of pipelines, valves, taps, pumps, water tanks, sanitary fixtures, and drainage systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Attend emergency plumbing complaints such as water leakage, pipe bursts, choke-ups, overflows, and blocked drainage systems promptly.
- Install and repair wash basins, toilets, urinals, flush valves, faucets, mixers, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Maintain underground and overhead water reservoirs, ensuring proper cleaning, operation, and water distribution.
- Monitor the operation of water supply pumps, booster pumps, pressure tanks, and associated plumbing equipment, reporting any abnormalities.
- Ensure proper functioning of rainwater drainage systems, roof drains, floor drains, and storm water pipelines.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend the service life of plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, and maintenance teams during renovation, repair, and construction works.
- Support fit-out works for new tenants by carrying out plumbing installations and modifications according to approved drawings.
- Maintain plumbing systems in food courts, restaurants, and kitchens while ensuring compliance with hygiene and health standards.
- Clear blocked sewer lines, floor traps, grease traps, and drainage systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Monitor water consumption and identify unusual water losses or leakage to minimize wastage.
- Replace damaged pipes, valves, gaskets, fittings, joints, and plumbing accessories as required.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, spare parts used, and daily work reports.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Respond to plumbing-related emergencies during holidays, weekends, or after office hours whenever required.
- Maintain housekeeping of plumbing rooms, pump rooms, and work areas, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the Engineering/Maintenance Manager.
